Saw - I've Learned. Thank You.

(2004) ★★★★★

Thanks to Jigsaw, we've learned how precious life is, and how stupid it is to give it up while there always seems to be a way out (Yeah, sure, only if not captured by Jigsaw). But one or two lessons would be enough to learn that, why six? How come people still enjoy this series? Have those bloody gross traps dulled their senses? Why would they so enjoy watching people suffer and die? I guess they've kind of forgotten the message behind. They're destroying it.

Saw is a truly spectacular though it's a low-budget film. As one of the 500 greatest films of all time, Saw's an unforgettable example of how a crime thriller is supposed to be like. Well, who would've figured the one seeming to be the mastermind of the game is just part of the game, and the truth itself is already there at the beginning? You think you're clever enough to figure out what's going on, but you're not. You have no idea, till Jigsaw reveals himself at the end and says, Game's Over. This is a perfect game in which you'd learn how much blood you'd shed to stay alive. Meaning, you'd learn to live each day as if it's your last (or would you?).

How long do you think your life could last? Days? Weeks? Months? Years? Life's just between your every inhale and exhale. If you breathe in, and can't breathe out, you die, and vice versa. It's simple as that. There're still people who would never learn, so the game may go on and on. Damn!
