Somewhere - Lost In Nothingness.

 (2010) ★★☆☆☆

He drives in a black Ferrari in circles. He then stops, gets out of his car and stares into the distance, wondering if there's anyplace he can go. Sure there's somewhere. Yet that somewhere is still unknown to him, a man who's got everything but a soul; who needs nothing but an awakening to realize what he really wants for his life.

Right, you might be misled by the synopsis, and expect the wrong thing though, since a plot like that could be downright bleak indeed. It's not, as a matter of fact. There's nothing to feel emotional about. You'd feel a void in his life, but it could be hard for you to figure what it really is. He may be fed up with his life as a star (or a puppet or a robot); with his fancy covers and pointless parties; with cigarettes and beers; with no-love sex with strange women; or even with his daughter's occasional drop-bys. I don't know, but one thing for sure, he's lost in nothingness, depression if you will.

Would he be able to give love? Has he been too numb to feel it? Could he succeed in turning his life around when nothingness seems to have almost devoured him? Whatever, I feel stupid after viewing, since I, for reasons unknown, can't see what he sees right up ahead.
