This Is It - May Him Rest In Peace
"This Is It" gives us a peek at Michael Jackson's final days on stage rehearsing rigorously for his upcoming O2 Arena gigs in London. Of course that's never gonna happen coz the creator himself is now six feet under. It's been almost a decade since he last stepped onto stage. Why'd he want to make a comeback on such a big scale then?
No interviews with MJ in this footage, so if you wanna know what kind of person he's like, sorry, he still remains a mystery. What you'll see is just the MJ you used to know, but apparently thinner and slower, along with his pick of musicians and choreographers, who appear to be so much more excited and zealous than MJ himself. I don't know. Maybe he was holding back and wanted to save the best for last, or he'd been tired out by paparazzi and rumors about him bleaching his skin, cosmetically changing his own face and figure, taking drugs so as to be calm and able to sleep, sexually harassing kids, or even being a vampire coz he's sorta afraid of the sun. Whatever, he's pretty serious about it. He must've realized this is really it for himself.
I think Michael had tried too hard. Like I said, as an entertainer, he'd sacrificed too much of his freedom of living like an ordinary individual. He, undoubtedly, loved his fans, his kids, his life (he didn't kill himself, he was murdered), the planet Earth, and of course music itself. People wonder why he wanted to go back on stage while his King Of Pop crown didn't seem to shine no more. I guess it's mostly because that's where he'd feel most comfortable to be. Goodbye, MJ!
